Diabetes NZ Youth Committee
Diabetes NZ members are being urged to stand for the Diabetes NZ Youth Committee.
The Diabetes NZ Youth Committee (DNZY) is a sub-committee of the Diabetes NZ Advisory Council and is bound by the Constitution of Diabetes NZ.
DNZY will promote the objects of Diabetes NZ as they relate to the Youth Sector and will perform its role to the best of its abilities and resources.
DNZY should be comprised of people with knowledge and experience of diabetes and the sector as it relates to youth. It is desirable but not essential that representation on DNZY is from across New Zealand.
It is desirable but not essential that one or more members of the DNZY are between the ages of 18 and 25 years.
A DNZY member will serve a term of two years but is eligible for re-election or re-appointment for a maximum of four terms.
There are four positions on the DNZ Youth Committee Council available to Diabetes NZ full members in the 2018 elections.

Nominations should be received via email or post to National Office by 5pm 17 September 2018.
The successful candidates will be officially announced at Diabetes NZ’s National conference and AGM on 17 November 2018.
