Beyond Type 1 – Kiwi takeover 2018

 

Last year we took over Beyond Type 1’s social media channels and showed the world how we live beyond Type 1 diabetes in Aotearoa. In August 2018 we are doing it again!


BT1 has over 1 million followers on Facebook and is read in over 170 countries in multiple languages. They are leveraging the power of social media and technology, changing what it means to live with a chronic disease, while creating a global Type 1 community.  


As part of the kiwi takeover, between 5-10 August we’ll share our stories on the Beyond Type 1 Instagram wall. This is a place for T1D Warriors to share their #LivingBeyond truth every day. We’d love to hear how you live beyond Type 1 diabetes?

Beyond Type 1’s guidelines for submitting:

  • You must have Type 1 diabetes.

  • One person per photo please, we want the focus to be on you!

  • Send a plain image, no need to photoshop or apply filters.

  • Shoot your photo in front of a blank wall or open sky – we need space to write on the photo.· The image must be in focus and at least 600 pixels tall by 660 pixels wide. An average cell phone photo works (you can include up to 3 photos for Beyond Type 1 to consider).

  • Smile and show us your personality. We can’t wait to see what you share!
