aDDITIONAL immunisationS for children and teens with diabetes

Children with Type 1 diabetes are eligible for a number of funded vaccines additional to the standard immunisation schedule, as follow:

Children, aged under 5 years

  • PCV13, 23PPV

  • Influenza, annually

  • mRNA-CV (3 µg) (excluding asthma)

Children aged 5 years to under 18 years, (including for those who received previous doses of a non-PCV13 vaccine (PCV10 and PCV7)

  • PCV13, 23PPV

  • Influenza, annually

  • mRNA-CV (10 µg)

  • MenACWYa

  • MMR (if susceptible)

  • MenBa

  • Hepatitis B (if susceptible)

  • VV (if susceptible)

  • Influenza, annually
