Summer Camps means Summer fun!

Rain or shine our diabetes camps are fun for all.

Our Auckland Live Brave Mana Ora camp went ahead despite cyclone Hale’s arrival and what a blast everyone had.

Around the country the our Waikato Live Brave Mana Ora camp was a huge success, the rain stayed away and everyone was able to try something new to challenge themselves. High ropes, a fantastic flying fox, climbing wall and climbing caterpillar. With the river close by everyone could take part in water sports including swimming, kayaking, and rafting. Other activities included relays, archery, mountain biking, arts and crafts, movie night, Burma trail.

In Canterbury, our first Family Camp saw new friendships made while they tested their nerves on Mountain Boarding, tree climbing and DIY go-karts.

With two more camps to go; family camp in Nelson and Tauranga we know that there is more fun to be had.
