I have had diabetes for 30 years, I started off Type 2  &  now T1.5 as my pancreas makes very little insulin, and I have 4 insulin injections a day and tablets.

I got married last July 2021 and didn't want any diabetes stress on the big day, I purchased the FreeStyle Libre & used it on my wedding day.

Wow what an amazing difference it made, no more finger pricks as I used to finger prick on average 8 times a day, to ensure my blood sugar was at the correct level, and for the continued anxiety of whether I was going (hypo, blood sugars to low) for me going low is the worst feeling/symptoms,  or hyper, blood sugars too high.

I continued to use the FreeStyle Libre for a couple more months but found the cost too much, if these were funded for people living with diabetes life would be simpler and definitely less diabetes stress.
